Beginning May and running through August we will be sponsoring an Outdoor JOAD program.  When:  Tuesday evenings starting at 6:00 PM.  Where:  LC&SA Clubhouse 8532 McClements Road, Brighton.

The JOAD program is designed so that kids have fun while they learn.  The first session, Ages 6 - 10, kids start on the 9 meter line on a 80 cm target.  Once they achieve a score of 200 points on this target they move back to the 18 meter line.  This helps build kids confidence in themselves as shooters.  They are closer to the target to start and have a better chance at hitting the target.

The second session, Ages 11 - 17, everyone shoots from the 18 meter line.  The difference here is that as a child reaches a certain goal they change target sizes.  Each child in this age group starts on the 80 cm target.  As they improve and hit goals they move to the 60 cm target and eventually to the 40 cm target.
